   I found it hard to get the wings open at first.
   The wings do rattle when open and nothing in the holder

   I bought this hoping to have an expandable cup holder to fit my larger Yeti water bottles that won't fit in my console. The 3rd "swing" holder definitely does not work for any kind of cup or bottle. The expandable "holders" are far too short, and even the smallest to go cup topples out of it. It does work as a placeholder for your phone, snacks, etc. For this reason alone I'm not returning it, but I still would not recommend it as advertised. It is pretty bulky, so if your console space is limited, be sure to really consider how much space you'll be sacrificing.

   this is a great addition to our auto I love it I can now put my fries in the top and drink in the bottom cup works wonderful very sturdy well made and I loved it so much my husband had to have one for his big truck he said what a great Idea can not go wrong with this cup holder and if you have children it's a great addition to put there snacks on the top holder as well going to order some for gifts

   My mom has 1996 Toyota RAV4. She kept buying cups trying to find one of the double walled insulated that would fit her cup holder. I got this for her for Mother’s Day. She can now have a 40oz Stanley cup no problems!!! It is wonderful

   I got this cup holder expander for the back seat of my vehicle. As much as vehicles cost today, it seems like they put smaller and fewer cup holders in them than before. This one fits perfectly and gives me 2 larger holders than the existing ones. I love that the top and bottom holders are larger in diameter than most other expandable holders. The top one has taller sides and can expand to fit really large items. I also love that you adjust the size of it by turning a knob underneath the holder instead of just pulling it out to expand. It is very sturdy, swivels a full 360* and has a lock on it so it won't move while driving. The base of the holder can be tightened by twisting the knob so the tabs will expand in the vehicles existing holder to lock it in place. This holder is very well made, excellent quality, very sturdy and the best one I have purchased so far. I highly recommend this product.

   This is one of those car cup-holder/expanders that doubles up the carrying capability of a single car cup holder space. The base has three rubber-ended feet that expand out when you twist it, and then has a pivoting top with a second expandable cup holder. It took a couple of tries -- a little bit of trial and error -- to get the base feet adjusted correctly so that when I gave the final rotation of the whole thing to lock it into place the upper cup was holder positioned where I wanted it. Then, with a twist of a knob at the pivot point that upper holder locks into its position.
   
   I had one similar to this recently but managed to break it, so wanted a replacement. I didn't realize how handy one of these is to have until I first tried it. When correctly installed it locks firmly into place with no movement, and arguably more importantly, no squeaking. The lower cup holder is pretty large and includes a cut-out to accommodate a coffee cup handle. And the upper holder is just as large to start with, but it can be expanded via a little knob on the bottom after which it could accommodate a small bowl (think a miniature movie theater popcorn bucket). Either will handle the large soda cups you find at convenience stores, as well as most reusable water bottles. Great find.

   We use it for various size cups and bottles sometimes other random crap like a phone or gum can be put in one of em. The main cupholder is nice and holds bigger cups and coffee mugs. The secondary is kind of for overflow and better when stopped at a sonic or something. Wish it had the same holder on the swivel arm. Tricky to get it your old cup holder just right and stable. It aint perfect but its an improvement over what i got. Gets you outta the deep hole.

   I bought this holder because it was $4 less than my other one but my other one is better, when you have the extenders out they rattle when nothing is in it, and the large cup holder is ok but the bottom tighter doesn’t have rubber tips and the rubber on the bottom where the cup sits on is thin cheap rubber

   This sits really tall in the cup holder. My 32 oz sipper fits well but is very tall. The unit has pressure pads that extend out to secure a tight fit in the car's holder. My vehicle's holder has an open area between two cups. Getting a good position so the extender section won't conflict with my shifter and still have the pressure pads offer a tight fit is a bit tricky.

   I bought this holder hoping it would work in my Mazda 6 with my larger water bottles. The holder itself fit in the car OK, but the cup spots weren’t great. The regular cup wasn’t much bigger than the regular one and still didn’t fit my bottle and the extender was a joke. You had to manually pull out all 3 pieces and squish them back against your cup and it was flimsy at best. I wouldn’t trust it to hold the bottle securely while driving.
   
   Returning this.
